The second of the two great commandments, “love your neighbor as yourself” teaches us to share the love that God gives us generous. We do that by our gifts of time and money to the needs in our local community and to all of God’s children.

​The quilters met on the last Thursday of the months January through October. This year they finished 57 regular size quilts, 15 children’s quilts and 1 youth quilt . Their quilts are going to Lutheran World Relief, Genesis House, Camp Carol Joy Holling, and Mission Heart where they are sent on to disaster relief agencies, and the York and Columbus Rescue Missions. The quilters provide an important mission and have fun doing it. Join them in January on the fourth Thursday of the month.
